Why should my child join?
The Northern Lights Pony Club is a great way to teach children responsibility, trust, love, and friendship. Children want to be active and always are wanting to meet new people and friends. If your child loves horses it is a great way to get involved. The members in our club are dedicated to horses and their friends. They are always wanting to learn more about these large animals. That is why we hold clinics from top trainers or experianced pony clubbers, we go to rallies (horse shows), have plenty of meetings, and have regular plans for the kids to get involved. Worried that your child will not have enough time? Don't worry, we have meetings only every first and third weekof the month. They are either on a Saturday or Sunday. Do I have to buy the horse to? No, no. If you want your child to get involved but do not have money to spend on a live horse, our sponser Chestnut Ridge Equestrian Center has lesson horses that they let us borrow for the members that do not have horses. The Northern Lights Pony Club is a great organization to join if you want to learn about horses with close friends. Membership
To become a member of the Northern Lights Pony Club, there is a annual membership fee for the year. This includes the price of rallies, the use of horses and so on. Please Email USPCCBoard@aol.com for more information and phone numbers.
